Haunted Village: Legends, Tales and Other Stories
Step into a world of enchantment and intrigue at Burnaby Village Museum’s Haunted Village: Legends, Tales and Other Stories. Journey through some of the most captivating, spooky, and timeless tales and legends from around the globe.
Wander through our 10-acre open-air site and encounter scenes like: Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Count Dracula’s Castle, Anasi the Spider, the Journey of the Monkey King, Maleficent and Sleeping Beauty, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Momotaro the Japanese Peach Boy, Hansel and Gretel, plus many more.
Activities Include:
- Indigenous Storytelling: Enjoy a Coast Salish shadow puppet story at Brookfield Hall.
- Vancouver Circus School performance: Witness their amazing skill and athleticism at Vorce Tram Station.
- Dance party: join DJ Dracula for a dance party on Hill Street.
FOOD AND DRINK: Savor delicious Halloween themed treats and warm beverages available for purchase at Mai’s Café.
CAROUSEL: The Carousel will not be in operation during Haunted Village.
EVENT DATES: - October 22-26, 2025, 4-9pm
- Choose a 30 minute entry window. Last ticket window is 7:30-8:00pm. Park closes at 9:00pm.
TICKETS:
General Admission: $10.
Children (2-12) years: $5.
Children under 2 years: free

- Limited tickets will be sold at the gate. Availability not guaranteed.
- Event is rain or shine.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- To change the day & time only a $2.00 exchange fee* is applied to each ticket to process.
*PLEASE NOTE: 24 HOURS NOTICE REQUIRED TO CHANGE TICKET.
- Please bring your printed tickets or e-tickets (on your smart phone/device) to the gate to enter.
- $2.00 online web order fee applies to all online purchases.
- Only service dogs allowed into event. Please wear vest.
- No scooters / electric scooters / skateboards allowed on site
- No smoking / vaping / alcohol / or drugs allowed
