JAZZ @ THE BOLT FESTIVAL WEEKEND PASS FEBRUARY 15th & SUNDAY FEBRUARY 16th
The Cellar Music Group presents the 6th Annual Jazz at the Bolt festival at Burnaby's Shadbolt Centre for the Arts: an annual treasure of an event, celebrating our vibrant jazz scene.
The festival brings established artists as well as many up-and-coming stars from Metro Vancouver and the U.S., especially New York City, providing a great variety of performances that highlight the tradition while also pushing creative boundaries.
This year’s headliners include the Ralph Moore Quartet, featuring the legendary tenor saxophonist Moore and a powerhouse lineup of musicians: pianist David Kikoski, bassist Peter Washington, and drummer Lewis Nash. Collectively, they bring decades of experience and exceptional artistry.
Jazz at the Bolt 2026 continues the partnership of Cellar Music Group founder and festival director Cory Weeds with Tim Reinert of Infidels Jazz. "Tim's involvement is key to making Jazz at the Bolt a success," Weeds says. "He provides a different flavour to the festival. His programming really helps give it the element of musical diversity, which is very important."
Through two full days of music on Saturday, Feb. 14 and Sunday, Feb. 15, attendees can enjoy more than 25 concerts on offer. Jazz at the Bolt fosters a community of jazz lovers, bringing together friends old and new, while gathering momentum around the next generation of talent.
PLEASE NOTE
-The festival’s shows take place in three rooms at the Shadbolt, and popular shows will fill these rooms to capacity. A festival pass doesn’t necessarily guarantee access to each individual show. If you want to make sure you hear a particular artist, be there early!
-Festival passes for Saturday and/or Sunday do *not* grant you admission to the Friday evening concert, which is a standalone presentation on the opening night of festival weekend. To attend that concert, purchase tickets to it via the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts box office and website, or learn more at jazzatthebolt.com
-Due to the nature of artist bookings and international travel, the final festival lineup may be subject to change by the Jazz at the Bolt programming team.
