Divine Trio: An Indian Classical Concert
Chinmaya Mission Vancouver is pleased to announce Divine Trio, a concert and fundraiser for the Mission. Join us for a magical evening of Indian classical music delivered by renowned artists Janab Hassan Haider Khan, Vidushi Mita Nag, and Pt. Subhen Chatterjee. By attending, you will support the Mission’s spiritual and educational activities, and delight your ears with bandishes, raga-based songs, and bhajans. It will be an evening to remember!

Doors open at 6:00 PM. Concert starts at 6:30 PM and ends at 9:00 PM.
About the Artists:
Divine Trio features the stylings of sensational, young Shehnai player JANAB HASSAN HAIDER KHAN, son of Shehnai maestro Ustad Ali Ahmed Hussain Khan and grandson of Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan; VIDUSHI MITA NAG, one of the best known female Sitar players in India, and daughter of legendary Sitar maestro Pt. Manilal Nag of the famous Vishnupur Gharana of Bengal; and finally, PT. SUBHEN CHATTERJEE on tabla.
About Chinmaya Mission:
Chinmaya Mission was formed in 1953 in order to spread the ancient teachings of Vedanta, the logic of spirituality, to people all around the world. Chinmaya Mission Vancouver was founded in 1972 and offers online and in-person classes for adults, youth, and children from Pre-K to Grade 12.
