Jody Peck (Miss Quincy) introduces her brand new outfit, cooking up some serious vintage country soul. Inspired by her grandparent's old time western band, the lineup features seasoned country gentlemen who provide just the right amount of twang as she belts it out like a rock 'n' roll Patsy Cline.
Jody Peck is an award winning artist with 3 albums, an EP and single releases. She has toured extensively with Miss Quincy & The Showdown, her all-female blues / rock ānā roll trio, and sings with Canadian bands The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer and Digging Roots.
Embarking on this solo journey allows Jody to perform her most personal songs, penned at her cabin in the woods and crafted in the spaces between life on the land and life on the road. She invites you, with the honesty and skill of a mature songwriter, into her wilderness of the Mighty Peace River. The songs chronicle stories of northern love, gunslingers, hunting camps and her legendary cook shack. This is the sound of a traveler returning home, headed northbound on the Alaska highway.
"...one listen and I was immediately hooked. By her voice, by her songwriting ability and musicianship, but mostly by the authenticity of her songs. This is a woman who has lived what she sings.ā -Stephen Quinn, On the Coast - CBC Radio One
