Reuniting with her original quartet, Vancouver jazz vocalist and pianist Jennifer Scott celebrates the music and recordings of the great Carmen McRae. “(McRae) was an influential artist with characteristic behind-the-beat phrasing and a sardonic delivery of the lyrics”, says Scott, “and also played great piano!” Come enjoy this stellar band weave magic through classic standards, Theolonius Monk & even the odd pop tune!
