Katari Taiko:

The first taiko drum group formed in Canada, Katari Taiko’s performance features vocals, martial arts, poetry and theatre. The synergy of the group, their joy, passion, and the visceral experience of the drumming appeals to audiences of all ages and transcends cultural barriers.

Dawn Pemeberton:

Vancouver soul dynamo Dawn Pemberton has a deep musical foundation rooted in tradition. In addition to regularly collaborating with funk and soul groups all over Western Canada and having an educated background in jazz voice and piano, Dawn is a talented and passionate songwriter in her own right. Her solo work marries soulful grooves with her roots in gospel music.
